The role:
As a CAMO Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the airworthiness of the fleet. Your responsibilities will range from providing technical support to flight crews and planning unscheduled maintenance, to long-term maintenance planning and managing technical records. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain the continuous airworthiness of the fleet in accordance with Part CAMO requirements.
- Maintenance Programmes: Develop and amend maintenance programmes.
- Technical Records: Check and update post-flight techlogs, and manage and archive all continuing airworthiness records.
- Coordination: Work closely with flight operations to ensure they have the necessary maintenance status for flight scheduling.
- Maintenance Management: Organize all scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on aircraft to ensure safe flight operations.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all maintenance is performed according to the approved maintenance programme and released in compliance with (EU) No 1321/2014, annex II (Part 145).
- Defect Management: Ensure all defects are corrected by an approved maintenance organization and that any deferrals comply with MEL/CDL requirements.
- Mass and Balance: Ensure the mass and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft.
- Airworthiness Directives: Evaluate and schedule Airworthiness Directives and other continued airworthiness requirements.
- Modifications: Evaluate and schedule non-mandatory modifications issued by OEMs.
- Audit Corrections: Manage and supervise maintenance inputs and correct audit findings as required.
- Data Analysis: Assist in gathering data for effectiveness and reliability analysis of the aircraft.
- Education: Engineering or aeronautical degree, or an Aircraft Maintenance License (B1, B2, C, or equivalent).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of EASA regulations, including Part 145 and Part CAMO.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English, with strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard software (CAMP, Skylegs, Centrik) and Office 365.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Motivation: Highly motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Residency: Must be an EU citizen, already living in Malta.

Work Schedule:
