A well-established global Cargo Company with key partner airlines and a strong presence in both Europe and the Middle East. With a growing fleet Boeing freighters, the company is set to expand its operations into scheduled cargo services.

About the Role
The company is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales - Cargo to lead its expansion into Hong Kong, the largest cargo market in the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing the new office, driving business development, and fostering strong client relationships within the Far East Asia region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Establishment: Oversee the set-up of the Hong Kong office, including selecting office space and managing the necessary infrastructure.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with senior management to design and implement business strategies aimed at achieving both short and long-term goals for the Hong Kong office in alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a local team to support the company’s expansion.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain key relationships with clients and stakeholders in Far East Asia to drive business growth.
  • Sales Management: Lead sales efforts focused on cargo operations, and develop profitable regional sales strategies tailored to the local market needs.
  • Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, manage the office's financial performance, and represent the company in business negotiations and industry events.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the aviation, cargo, or logistics sectors, with proven success in driving business in the Hong Kong/East Asia markets.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, along with fluency in English.
  • Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong business landscape and regulatory framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up and manage new business units or offices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • An advanced degree is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively within the region.
