About the Company:
Our client is a globally recognised aviation charter company dedicated to delivering exceptional cargo charter services. They are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Head of Cargo Charter to take full ownership of growing and developing their cargo charter division.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead business development efforts, manage and expand existing client relationships, and build a team as the division grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Development:
- Take the lead in identifying and securing new cargo charter clients, focusing on proactive business development.
- Support and nurture established client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Business Growth:
- Drive sales to expand the client base and enhance the division's market presence.
- Strategically lay the foundation for scaling the cargo charter division, including hiring and managing a team as the business evolves.
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Operate with a “hunter” mindset, identifying opportunities and working independently to achieve results.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long-term success.
- Negotiate and secure competitive deals with operators to provide value-driven solutions for clients.
- Craft and deliver accurate, professional client proposals, ensuring timely follow-ups and deal closures.
- Oversee contract management, insurance requirements, and invoicing processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- A proven track record in business development and sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in aviation, cargo charter, or a related industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to operate independently and build a team as the division scales.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- A results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for developing new business opportunities.
- Experience managing client accounts, presenting strategies, and influencing senior management.
- A diploma or relevant qualification in sales, marketing, or business is preferred.
