We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to provide strategic leadership in managing and optimizing our financial operations, while also overseeing key administrative functions. This role is crucial in supporting the CEO, ensuring efficient resource management, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and smooth daily operations within the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to streamline day-to-day financial activities.
- Keep financial records accurate and up-to-date, ensuring data integrity.
- Contribute to the month-end process and generate detailed management accounts.
- Oversee the posting of invoices and journals using our accounting software.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns within set deadlines.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Work closely with external auditors to ensure smooth auditing processes.
- Support the budgeting process in coordination with senior leadership.
- Participate in the rollout of new financial and business projects.
- Provide additional support to the finance team as needed.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior financial management position.
- Certified qualification in accounting, with the relevant international credentials.
- Strong expertise in financial control, reporting, and compliance.
- Experience in multi-national and cross-cultural environments.
- Thorough knowledge of local tax laws and payroll regulations.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities, capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Experience in the aviation industry, as well as proficiency in Business Central or Microsoft NAV, would be advantageous.
