Are you a CAMO expert? Looking for a change from the 9-5? Our client is looking for a friendly new face to join their team in a stunning location. 

This role is supporting an airline fleet to ensure compliance with UK CAA Part CAMO regulation requirements.
The Technical Services Manager leads and manages the Technical Services team output focusing on the safe and reliable performance of the fleet.
This role works cross functionally and provides technical expertise support to other departments such as AOC, CAMO, Safety and Compliance.
You will be supporting the Head of Continuing Airworthiness.
      
Your Role:
Establish, develop and monitor procedures and KPIs, including Technical Services Queries, to ensure Technical Services team and functions are met in line with company objectives.
Lead and supervise the Technical Services team and perform team member functions as required in support of the fleet.
Support Head of Continuing Airworthiness, working with Planning & Technical Records Manager and other CAMO colleagues for delivery of CAMO projects and tasks.
Monitor Aircraft Maintenance Program performance through analysis of data.
Monitor Reliability including review and analysis of TDR / availability, base check findings / defects,  engine trend monitoring and presentation at Fleet Technical Review Meetings.
Ensure the assessment and accomplishment of Airworthiness Directive’s and Service Bulletin’s and associated cost information.
Ensure modifications  and damage repairs performed to required standard.
Ensure software, avionics and other databases / status lists are maintained to required standard.
Prepare and control aircraft mass and balance technical procedures and weigh reports.
Prepare and control aircraft technical specification sheets and involvement in fleet transition.
Manage administration of technical support services activities for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure technical liaison with regulatory authority, aircraft and component OEM, and Part 21 organisations, and ensure representation at meetings and/or events as required.
Prepare and issue of engineering orders / work cards / additional work requests and procedures in compliance with maintenance data, as arising from SME (TSE) analysis / investigation.
Produce reports and information to Head of Continuing Airworthiness, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Perform safety management tasks and contribute to safety and compliance activities as required, including the technical evaluation and investigation of hazard/occurrence reports, technical analysis of Flight Data Monitoring when required.
Ensure reporting of hazards and occurrences by the CAMO team as required.
Supports other tasks or projects as required.
    
Essential Skills/Experience:
·         Part 66 licence or Aeronautical engineering degree, together with a minimum of 5 years experience; OR
·         At least 10 years’ appropriate experience
·         Will have recent experience of working in a CAMO environment ideally in a supervisory/managerial capacity

 ·         Must have a comprehensive understanding of the role of the CAMO in a modern airline environment
·         Be well organised with good attention to detail
·         Be proactive in approach to all responsibilities with ability to work on own initiative and to specific deadlines within the company policies and procedures.
·         Ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently.
     
Professional and/or regulatory requirements:
 ·         Regulatory training - Part M (Part CAMO), Part 145, SMS - (desirable)
·         Mandatory training - Human Factors, EWIS, ETOPS, FTS - (desirable)
