GOOSE are proud to partner with a leading ACMI provider who is seeking a highly motivated Charter Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. This growing airline has established itself as a key player in the market, offering flexible and responsive solutions for client needs. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Charter Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth, managing client relationships, and supporting a variety of customer requests with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive international market strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion, including new routes, partnerships, and customer segments.
  • Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, setting goals to achieve or exceed commercial targets.
  • Manage all charter enquiries, including after-hours support.
  • Handle quotations, contract negotiations, and set up ad-hoc charters and wet leases.
  • Oversee sales and programmes for tour operators.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, providing accurate pricing and availability details.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the airline industry, with a strong background in commercial roles, ideally focused on sales and charter services.
  • Strong knowledge of the aviation market, including industry regulations, business culture, and market trends.
  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Expertise in international project implementation and relationship management with foreign organisations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • The ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
