Are you an experienced Compliance and Safety Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client is a growing company with a bustling, vibrant culture, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our clients safety and compliance efforts.

Role Purpose:

As the Head of Safety, Compliance, and Training, you will ensure that our Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management System meets UK CAA, EASA, and other national authority requirements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high airworthiness and quality standards, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Compliance: Implement and oversee a compliance monitoring programme to ensure adherence to maintenance procedures and regulatory approvals.
  • Safety Reporting: Keep the Accountable Manager informed about the effectiveness and status of safety and compliance systems.
  • Supplier and Sub-contractor Assessment: Evaluate and manage suppliers and sub-contractors to meet regulatory standards.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all technical training requirements are met and delivered effectively.
  • Safety Management: Facilitate hazard identification, risk analysis, and manage safety reports and internal investigations.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Maintain communication with the UK CAA on all airworthiness and regulatory matters.
Core Competencies:
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK CAA, EASA, and other aviation legislation.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to develop, organise, and manage staff.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in aircraft maintenance and compliance auditing.
  • Training Delivery: Skilled in delivering training and managing incident investigations.
