MRO Sales Manager

Location: New Zealand (Candidates must currently reside in New Zealand or Australia)

Salary: Up to $170,000 (DOE) + Bonus Structure

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven MRO Sales Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing aviation organisation. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services, particularly within the rotary-wing sector. The role is based in New Zealand, and candidates must currently reside in New Zealand or Australia to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the MRO Sales team, driving sales activities and developing strategic directions for product lines, regions, and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement key sales strategies to expand business opportunities in New Zealand, Australia, and global markets.
  • Manage sales targets, KPIs, and performance goals to ensure consistent achievement of objectives.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate insights and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to effectively promote MRO services.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal CRM systems to streamline sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed, fostering a strong culture of health and safety.
Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the aviation industry, with a strong focus on rotary-wing aircraft.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering MRO services.
  • Proven success in business development and sales within the aviation sector.
  • Strong industry connections and a comprehensive understanding of the global aviation landscape.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience in managing budgets and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a successful sales team.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Must currently reside in New Zealand or Australia (relocation support is not available).
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with the ability to drive new business initiatives, foster meaningful industry relationships, and consistently deliver high-performance sales results. Rotary-wing experience is highly desirable, and a background in managing sales teams and developing new markets is key.
