We are a premium private aviation company specializing in aircraft management and charter services. With a diverse fleet from multiple manufacturers, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage our Operations Control Center (OCC) and oversee ground operations.

Position Overview:
The OCC Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day flight operations and managing the OCC team. This role ensures smooth, efficient, and safe operations while maintaining compliance with aviation regulations. The OCC Manager will also act as the accountable person for ground operations, ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

OCC Management:
  • Lead and manage the OCC team, ensuring efficient flight operations.
  • Oversee daily operations, including flight schedules, safety, and punctuality.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for optimal performance.
  • Handle rostering, budgets, training, and performance evaluations for the OCC team.
  • Respond to operational disruptions and emergencies, minimizing impact.
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless operational communication.
Ground Operations Oversight:
  • Ensure efficient ground operations, including aircraft handling, baggage, and fuel services.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct audits and ensure ground operations meet all safety and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations.
  • Maintain communication with local authorities and submit required reports.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and mentor the OCC and ground operations teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee performance evaluations for team members.
Operational Planning:
  • Work with senior management to implement strategic plans for operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
Travel & Flexibility:
  • Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally as needed for audits or emergency responses.
Person Specification:
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in aviation operations or ground handling.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations, particularly for private aviation.
  • Dispatcher license is an asset.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Strong financial and legal understanding.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Competitive remuneration is offered based on experience.
