You will be a subject matter expert and will lead on performing internal compliance audits and supporting colleagues to implement corrective actions for non-conformities.
Your role-
- You will lead on performing internal compliance audits across the Airport.
- Develop a deep understanding and working knowledge of the Assurance Management System, process flows and Compliance Monitoring Program.
- Respond to questions relating to compliance requirements and support the department in advising on compliance-related enquiries.
- Complete tasks to support colleagues in implementing actions to satisfy compliance non-conformities.
- Provide regular status updates regarding the progress of compliance activities both verbally and by developing presentations.
- Ensure accurate tracking of audit reports and follow up on compliance non-conformities in a timely manner.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date database of information of external compliance audits.
- Pro-actively educate employees regarding regulatory and compliance procedures and policies.
- Collaborate and build relationships with Stakeholders across the Company to enable effective and open communication channels.
- Pro-actively use routine audits to identify potential compliance risks and process improvements.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and actively share knowledge with colleagues.
- Deliver reports regarding progress, challenges, and changes to compliance procedures to the Head of Group Assurance who will deliver to the Leadership Team and in Board meetings.
- Support the Head of Group Assurance with specific projects on request.
- Supported by Head of Group Assurance, provide advisory, support and guidance on compliance issues to the Company.
- Assist the Head of Group Assurance on compliance-related matters across the company.
- Complete additional adhoc tasks as requested by the Head of Group Assurance.
- Previous experience in Compliance (ideally aviation).
- Lead Auditor qualification essential.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards preferred.
- Working knowledge of ISO 22301 preferred.
- Knowledge of CAA CAP168 (desirable).
- Aptitude to identify potential compliance issues or deviations.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and diligence.
- Ability to exhibit the highest standards of integrity and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Must have permanent right to work in the UK and lived within the UK for the last five years to pass airside vetting.
