Job Description

We are currently hiring for an Operations Manager to join our private aviation client based in Oxford. This is a unique opportunity to join their growing business.

Your responsibilities will include-
  • Manage department budgets, headcount, aircraft billing processes.
  • Accurately identify cost saving processes and opportunities.
  • Understand the technical, crewing and flight limitations in operating a blended fleet aircraft.
  • Day to day management of oversight of Aircraft Managers, Operations Controllers and Flight Dispatchers for all company ground operations.
  • Welfare and discipline of the operations staff and providing leadership and training where appropriate to meet the current or future business requirements of the department.
  • Management of staff scheduling, including maintaining sufficient manpower planning to cover operational hours to ensure adequate personnel coverage of the company's operations.
  • Ensuring that the company maintains the highest achievable standards of flight safety and efficiency by supporting industry and regulatory initiatives, the prompt closure of compliance Monitoring audit non-conformances and the adoption of safety management practices within the company.
  • Ensuring all operations staff are fully conversant with the company Operations, Procedures, and the Emergency Response Manual.
  • The day-to-day operation of the Company Flight Time Limitations (FTL) scheme, including ensuring that all relevant Crew Duty records are maintained in accordance with the approved scheme.
  • Maintaining a close liaison with the Airworthiness team on all matters concerning the continued serviceability of the Company's fleet with specific regard to maintaining contract commitments and schedules.
  • Attend the Company Safety Action Group Meetings as Operations representative.
  • Support the charter team through on-fleet charter enquiries.
  • Be fully conversant with regulatory requirements and emergency response processes.
  • Oversight of all client/owner relationships, billing cycles, contract management.
  • Management of all new aircraft onboarding processes.
  • Management and oversight of local airport billing agreements, fleet additions.
Our client are offering a competitive salary and package between, £65K-£70K depending on experience.
