Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Business Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team, ensuring individual and team targets are met or exceeded.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the aerospace logistics sector, focusing on profitability and growth.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking via CRM tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, driving retention and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and events to enhance brand visibility and establish new connections.
- Work closely with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Oversee RFP and RFQ responses, ensuring all proposals are commercially sound and strategically aligned.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing and service delivery meet client expectations.
- Regularly analyze customer data to identify trends and areas for improvement, proactively addressing challenges to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing ongoing coaching.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide guidance on complex deals and opportunities, ensuring appropriate resources are allocated for success.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with regional and global objectives.
- Present company capabilities and solutions to key stakeholders, demonstrating thought leadership and expertise within the industry.
- Extensive sales experience in a targeted, customer-facing environment, ideally within aerospace logistics.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is an advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including the ability to create presentations and analyze data.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role.
