As the UK National AOC Safety and Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and continuously improving group compliance across various disciplines of aviation regulation, health, safety, and environmental performance. Reporting to the Director UKSAR, FISARSH & FOST, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and supporting a program of monitoring and auditing to ensure high levels of safety and compliance assurance.
- Managing the AOC event investigation process and conducting Safety Investigations when required.
- Facilitating Safety Review Boards and Safety Action Groups.
- Providing detailed reports and analysis of safety issues or trends.
- Oversight of the Environmental Management System for the UK National AOC.
- Planning and controlling the audit cycle to meet regulatory and client requirements.
- Acceptable to the CAA/EASA to hold CAA/EASA Form 4.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance within the aviation sector or other complex industry.
- Detailed knowledge/understanding of ISO, CAA, and EASA regulations.
- Proven experience in aircraft engineering, flight operations, ground operations, or verification (Part 145 & CAMO).
- Detailed understanding of Compliance requirements and Aviation Management System requirements.
- 3 or more years of supervisory experience or leadership role.
- Recognized academic qualification at the undergraduate level or equivalent in Safety Management Systems Principles and Practices.
- Training in CAA/EASA regulation in air operations and continued airworthiness.
- Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2015.
- Incident/Accident investigation training and experience.
- Human Factors Training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
