Location: Central London Office

Company Overview: A leading provider of professional indemnity solutions within the aviation and aerospace sectors is seeking a Senior Aviation Development Executive to drive business growth and strengthen client relationships. With an established presence in the industry, the company is focused on expanding its footprint and enhancing its service offering.

Role Overview: This role is ideal for a driven, energetic professional with a strong background in aviation, aircraft leasing, or aviation insurance. The successful candidate will play a key role in underwriting, business development, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwriting: Manage accounts, provide new business and renewal quotes.
  • Client & Industry Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and industry professionals.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through multiple channels.
  • Industry Representation: Attend and represent the company at international conferences and industry events.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in developing marketing and guidance materials.
  • Claims Handling: Contribute to efficient, cost-effective claims management.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and expand a strong sales pipeline.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to execute targeted sales campaigns.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed sales and business development targets.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in aviation, aircraft leasing, or aviation insurance underwriting/broking.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven success in sales and business development, with experience generating and converting new leads.
  • Networking & Public Speaking: Comfortable representing the company at global events.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical & Organisational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Negotiation: Strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Team Player & Independent Worker: Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for business and industry events.
  • Qualifications: CII and/or ACA Broker qualifications are desirable but not essential.
