Goose Recruitment is proud to partner with a regional airline in the Caribbean, seeking a highly experienced Director of Quality and Safety to lead and enhance its safety, compliance, and quality assurance functions. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring regulatory excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all quality and safety operations, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and internal standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Quality Assurance programs.
- Lead risk management initiatives, incident investigations, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Conduct and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to IOSA and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive operational safety excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in ISO, Six Sigma, or Safety Management are a plus.
- Hold or have previously held an ATPL or SCPL license, with at least three years of aviation Quality Management experience.
- Alternatively, a non-pilot candidate must have at least five years of experience in Safety and Quality Management, with accredited auditing expertise.
- Certified in Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Quality Management & Auditing.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting at least four safety and quality audits annually.
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety standards, regulatory frameworks, and quality assurance best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- IOSA auditing experience is highly desirable.

- Attractive Salary: USD 7,500 per month.
- Tax-Free Income: No income tax in Turks & Caicos Islands.
- Healthcare & Insurance:
- 3% contribution to National Health Insurance Plan (similar to UK scheme), with an additional 4% covered by the company.
- 3% contribution to the National Insurance Board (insurance scheme).
