About the Role:
We are seeking an Operations Control Center (OCC) Manager to lead flight operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, you will oversee up to 16 team members.
Key Qualifications:
- Dispatcher certificate (FAA/ICAO equivalent preferred).
- Three or more years of experience in crew scheduling, planning, and control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the OCC, ensuring all flights operate efficiently and comply with aviation regulations, including OTARs, IOSA DSP standards, and foreign air regulations.
- Flight Dispatch & Control: Supervise the dispatch processes, including flight planning, operational control, and crew scheduling while ensuring all dispatch requirements are met.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all OCC personnel adhere to operational manuals, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Safety & Security: Act as a key member of the Safety & Security Action Group (SSAG) and ensure compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator in case of an emergency, incident, or accident.
- Training & Development: Ensure dispatcher training programs are implemented and maintained, including annual recurrent training and compliance monitoring.
- Coordination & Communication: Facilitate communication between dispatchers, crew schedulers, and relevant departments to maintain seamless flight operations.
- Resource & Performance Management: Monitor and manage operational resources, including fuel planning, airport slots, and dispatch equipment.
- Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate with aviation authorities, external vendors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as needed.
